Mizushima Rinkai Railway Co.,Ltd.

This railway connects 14.8 kilometers between the center of Kurashiki City in Okayama Prefecture and the Mizushima industrial area. On weekday mornings and evenings, when there are many commuters, old diesel trains manufactured in the 1960s to 1970s operate, attracting the popularity of railroad fans. Since the time of its opening, it has been affectionately known as 'Peepow' in reference to the sound of the whistle.
