The JR Hisatsu Line (Hitoyoshi Station) is a branch line between Hitoyoshi Onsen Station and Yamae Station, with 14 stations and 24.8 kilometers of track. (Currently, the Hitoyoshi Onsen - Higo Nishimura section is operated by alternative bus transportation, and the Higo Nishimura - Yamae section is partially operated by train.)
