Hojo Railway is a third-sector railroad connecting Hojo-machi Station in Kasai City, Hyogo Prefecture, and Awo Station in Ono City. It is a non-electrified single track line 13.6 km long, and its predecessor was the Hojo Line of the former Japanese National Railways. It takes about 23 minutes (one way) and is operated by a one-car diesel train, with four cars currently in service. The single train runs through the peaceful countryside. The one-car train is a diesel-powered diesel locomotive, and you can feel the pleasant sound and vibration of the diesel engine.
