Ise Tetsudo Railway Company
Because the line was opened in 1973, there are many elevated and embanked sections that cut through the countryside, and because it is non-electrified and has no overhead wires, the view from the train is very scenic. In addition to the seasonal countryside scenery, when the weather is fine, you can see the Suzuka mountain range to the west and Ise Bay to the east. The line has both double-track and single-track sections, and single-car trains running at 100 km/h sometimes pass each other.
