Iwate Galaxy Railway Co.,Ltd.

The route runs 82 km from Morioka to the border of Aomori Prefecture, and is used by many commuters for daily commuting to work, school, and hospital. The route is surrounded by nature, including Mount Iwate and Mount Himegami, two of Iwate's most famous peaks, and the most scenic spot in the northern part of the prefecture, Masen-no-sa, where you can see flowers in spring, green leaves and rice fields in summer, autumn leaves in fall, and a silver world in winter.
